Female Scalp Micropigmentation

Scalp Micropigmentation for Women

An image of scalp micropigmentation

When it comes to receding hairlines and balding, most people associate these conditions with men. But the truth is, countless women all over the world struggle with thinning hair and balding. We’re here to offer innovative solutions for all. At Medical Tattoo Centers of America, we’re passionate about helping women with hair loss, because our founder is a woman who has experienced it herself. After noticing a need in the Twin Cities for micropigmentation services, it became Layla Salim’s mission to open a first-of-its-kind, gender-neutral clinic. After rigorous training, she was certified for medical hair tattoos and began helping people from all walks of life regain confidence by providing a long-term solution for hair loss symptoms.

Scalp micropigmentation can give you the illusion of thicker, fuller hair. Let’s take a closer look at the process.

Our Female Scalp Micropigmentation Process

At Medical Tattoo Centers of America, we offer a safe space for all people, no matter your race, gender, or age, because we know hair loss and other illnesses can affect anyone at any given time. We follow a structured process for hair tattoo procedures, which includes:

Initial Consultation

When you contact us for any procedure, whether it is for PRP treatments, hairline tattoos, medical tattoos, or something else, your consultation will be free. During this meeting, we will get to know you and what you have gone through. Our founder knows firsthand what it’s like to go through a traumatic event; She founded our clinic so she could help others in similar circumstances. You will find the care and compassion you deserve when you come to us for scalp micropigmentation.

Scheduling Services

During our consultation, we will set a day and time for you to come in for your appointment. At the time your appointment is booked, you will need to put down a 25% deposit. If you need to cancel your appointment for any reason, you need to do so at least 48 hours in advance, or you will lose the entirety of your deposit. Before we begin your procedure, you will have to pay in full. If you want to learn more about our pricing, discounts, and scheduling, contact us today or visit this page on our site.

Treatments

Your privacy and comfort is our top priority. During any appointment or consultation, you will be the only client in the clinic. For scalp micropigmentation, we use a hand tool with a sterile needle attached to the end to inject pigment into the epidermal layer of your scalp. Depending on how much hair we are tattooing, your procedure could take anywhere from two to eight hours. Scalp micropigmentation is completely safe and causes little to no discomfort for the vast majority of clients. Touch-Ups

Hairline tattoos are considered a permanent solution to your hair loss symptoms because using specific pigments, these tattoos create the illusion of hair instead of regrowing hair. As with any type of ink or pigment, it will fade over time. On occasion, you will have to have touch-ups to ensure you always have the look you want. As long as your first touch-up with us is within six months of your initial procedure, it will be free. Let’s talk today, so you can learn more.

How We Help People with Alopecia

If you have alopecia, you may have small or large spots of hair loss that impact your image and possibly your confidence too. At Medical Tattoo Centers of America, we know alopecia affects people of all ages, races, and genders, and we understand how losing your hair can make you feel less like yourself. Female scalp tattoos create the illusion of thick, full hair and offer a more permanent solution than extensions or wigs. See the results of female scalp micropigmentation in our gallery!
