Our medically licensed and highly skilled piercing artist has completed advanced training in modern aseptic technique and specializes in all types of body piercings. When you choose MTCOA, you can rest assured your body piercing experience will be as safe, comfortable, and professional as possible.
- Sterile medical body piercing. At MTCOA, we maintain our piercing environment and entire clinic according to medical sterility standards. When you get a body piercing with us, your safety is our number one priority.
- Take advantage of personalized anesthesia. Feeling a little nervous about your piercing? We’ve got something for that. At MTCOA, we offer two types of nubing: (1) self-administered nitrous oxide pain and anxiety management as an add-on to all of our medical-grade piercing services and (2) lidocaine injections.
Body Piercings at Medical Tattoo Centers of America
AT MTCOA, we can perform any type of body piercing you’re looking to get. From navel (belly button) piercings and nipple piercings to several types of genital piercings, we do them all. More importantly, for your safety and ours, we perform piercings in a sterile environment using aseptic technique.
If you’ve visited any non-medical body piercing clinics in the past, you know they’re not always sterile and they certainly don’t always make you feel comfortable. We do things differently.
How Does Our Body Piercing Process Work?
When you’re interested in getting a body piercing at our clinic, the first thing you’ll need to do is reach out to schedule a free consultation. We conduct this pre-procedure consultation on the phone or through email to learn about your medical history and answer any questions you may have about the piercing you’re interested in getting.
Body Piercing Pain Management Options
If you’re feeling a little anxious about your body piercing or worried about discomfort during the procedure, you can always opt to use ProNox nitrous oxide pain management at your appointment. We offer this as an add-on service at our clinic, and it’s completely self-administered, which means you’ll have full control over the amount of N2O (laughing gas) you consume.
Nitrous oxide will keep you fully awake and alert during the procedure, and it will not put you out of commission after your piercing as the gas wears off in a matter of minutes. When we’re finished, you’ll still be able to drive yourself home from your appointment or continue on with your normal daily routine.
Your second option is to get the area numb using a lidocaine shot. This add on service uses a very small needle to place lidocaine where the piercing will be making the actual piercing absolutely pain free.
Body Piercing Aftercare and Healing
Each person’s body heals at a slightly different rate, and various areas of the body tend to heal faster than others. At your appointment, we’ll discuss proper piercing aftercare and give you detailed instructions that we’d like you to follow for best results. If you have any questions after you leave, you’re more than welcome to reach out to our team for advice!
